(Beijing) — China will now allow couples to have three children as its population falls. China’s official news agency reported President Xi Jinping approved the policy change at a politburo meeting. China’s latest census shows over the last decade, its population grew at the slowest rate since the 1950s. In recent years, the country adopted a two child limit as its population explosion slowed.
