(Redwood City, CA) — One of the world’s biggest video game makers says hackers have stolen source code used in some of their most popular products. Electronic Arts confirmed hackers stole 780 gigabytes of data that includes the source code of Frostbite, the engine used in popular games including FIFA, Madden and its Battlefield series. An E-A spokesperson said no user data was compromised. Losing the source code is a big deal because it could help hackers find other vulnerabilities.
