(Washington, DC) — The CDC says the U.S. has given nearly 309-million doses of the coronavirus vaccines. The agency’s latest stats show that 173 million people have rolled up their sleeves for at least one dose, while 143 million are fully vaccinated. That’s 43-percent of the population that’s fully vaccinated. While there’s been a lot of progress on the vaccine front, it’s still far short of President Biden’s goal of having 70-percent of people with at least one shot of the vaccines.
