Starbucks Makes Move For Stadium, Training Facility Naming Rights

By

(Seattle, WA) — Starbucks could have its name on a stadium or training facility in the near future. The company has filed an application with federal officials to do just that. However, the submission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office must be approved. Stadium naming rights are a big deal in the sports world and they come with a big price tag.

The Motley Fool published an article last year (see it here: https://www.fool.com/investing/2020/06/29/when-a-company-pays-for-stadium-naming-rights-is-i.aspx) saying that naming rights are not necessarily a good investment for the compnay– or for you. Read it and judge for yourself.
