Peloton Warns Of Security Flaw

(New York, NY) — Peloton is warning that some of its bikes are vulnerable to hackers who could spy on users with the camera and microphone. Steve Povolny, head of Advanced Threat Research at McAfee, worked with the company to find a fix.

It most likely only a threat to the 25-hundred-dollar bikes in public spaces, as a hacker has to physically use a USB drive containing the harmful code. It’s also possible for hackers to hijack the touchscreen and steal user information.
