(New York, NY) — Former President Donald Trump is blasting coronavirus vaccines for school-age children. In an interview last week with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Trump claimed that young people are “not affected or affected badly” by the coronavirus-which is borne out by data. The CDC is urging teenagers to get vaccinated, pointing to recent percentage increases in teens being hospitalized for COVID-19, while studies done as some teens experiencing health problems after taking the vaccine. Trump said last night, “the vaccine on very young people is something that you’ve got to really stop.” The FDA last month gave emergency use authorization to the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 12 to 15.
