California Secy Of State Releases List Of Candidates In Gov’s Recall Election

(Sacramento, CA) — California election officials are out with a list of 41 candidates running in the recall election targeting California Governor Gavin Newsom. There are 21 Republicans, eight Democrats and nine Independents among others. But Larry Elder’s name is not on it. The former KABC talk show host who recently left the Salem Network announced his candidacy last week. It’s unclear if Elder failed to meet any California state requirements to be placed on the September 14th ballot. Lawsuits are expected.
