(Los Angeles, CA) — Disgraced movie producer and convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein is being extradited to California to face additional sex crimes charges. Already serving a 23-year prison sentence in Upstate New York, Los Angeles County officials have confirmed that Weinstein is now in their custody. Last month, a state judge approved his extradition to L.A. County so the former movie producer can face a total of eleven counts of assault including rape and sexual battery. Prosecutors allege the 69-year-old sexually assaulted five women between 2004 and 2013, in both L.A. and Beverly Hills.
