(Sacramento, CA) — Conservative talk show host Larry Elder will be on the recall ballot after all. Elder tweeted “We Won” after a Sacramento County Judge has ordered California’s Secretary of State to put his name on the list of replacement candidates, should Gavin Newsom be recalled by voters. Secretary of State Shirley Weber had initially blocked Elder from the ballot, citing concerns about his tax return filings. But Superior Court Judge Laurie Earl ruled that Elder met the necessary requirements to qualify for the election. Elder joins a crowded list that includes 42 other candidates hoping to replace Gavin Newsom in the September 14th recall election.
