(Los Angeles, CA) — A man who burglarized celebrities’ homes in Los Angeles has been sentenced to more than nine years behind bars. In a span of less than a month in 2018, the man burglarized a house belonging to singer Rihanna, and the home of former Dodger Yasiel Puig, along with two other homes. The now 22-year-old man was scheduled to go on trial, but pleaded no contest to first-degree burglary charges last month. In an interview with police, the man said he targeted Puig’s house because the ball player was “stupid” for putting his activities on social media. Six other people allegedly involved in the burglary ring are still awaiting trial.
