(Washington, DC) — Federal contractors will be getting more money this year. The Labor Department says their wage will be at least 15-dollars an hour. This money is , of course, your money, your tax dollars at work. That pay amount in all new contracts starts January 30th. More than 300-thousand workers are expected to see a bump in pay. Meantime, the tipped minimum wage for federal contractors will end by 2024. It’s currently set at seven-dollars and 65-cents an hour.
