Shame on Garcetti, Gascon. Arrests made in smash-and-grabs, suspects RELEASED. How can this be?

Authorities say 14 people have been arrested in connection with 11  robberies from North Hollywood to South Los Angeles, but currently there are no suspects in custody, they have been released.

LAPD Chief Michel Moore says the 14 were released because they posted bail, some were underage, or due to zero bail policies.  The six burglaries, four robberies and one grand theft took place between Nov. 18 and Sunday and involved several suspects working in tandem to steal from various stores, sometimes using brute force and intimidation to overwhelm employees. Moore says those crimes netted nearly 340-thousand dollars worth of property and caused more than 40 thousand dollars worth of damage. Chief Moore says he plans to meet with LA DA Gascon later this week.
