Beverly Hills Joins List of Cities Endorsing Recall of D.A. George Gascon

(Beverly Hills, CA) — Add Beverly Hills to the long list of cities officially in favor of recalling Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon. Yesterday, the Beverly Hills City Council voted to endorse the recall effort, blaming Gascon’s directives on a spike in organized crime like smash-and-grab and follow-home robberies in their city. The first effort to recall Gascon did not make it on the ballot, but an official second recall campaign started last month.
