Baldwin Hasn’t Turned Over Cell Phone To Sheriff’s Office

(Santa Fe, NM) — Officials investigating the deadly shooting on the set of “Rust” are still waiting to receive Alec Baldwin’s cell phone. The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office issued an update on the case yesterday and said despite a search warrant being issued, the actor has not turned over the phone. The update comes just days after Baldwin posted a video on social media insisting he is cooperating with the investigation. The sheriff’s office said the district attorney’s office had been in negotiations with the actor’s lawyer to retrieve the phone last month.
