Newsom SHOCKED, shocked I tell you, over railroad thefts

It’s like it was a surprise to the Governor. The viral video and pics of the devastation on LA railroad tracks- the violated parcels from ransacked train cars that sickened America has just gotten on Newsom’s radar. Even the LA Times is reporting:

“The images looked like a Third World country,” Newsom told reporters Thursday. “What you saw here in the last week is just not acceptable. So, I took off the suit and tie and said I’m coming because I couldn’t take it. I can’t turn on the news anymore. What the hell is going on?”

Governor Gavin Newsom has announced a plan to stop the extreme cargo theft along the Union Pacific rail line in Los Angeles. Yesterday, Governor Newsom said, in the short term, Caltrans and Union Pacific crews will clean up the tracks that are littered with garbage, cardboard boxes, and stolen discarded goods. Last weekend, a train derailed while trying to cross that sea of garbage in Lincoln Heights. Newsom also says, in the long term, the California Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies will coordinate efforts to beef up patrols to prevent more items from getting stolen out of boxcars. This after essentially blaming the train companies for not protecting themselves
