The fallout continues after many politicians and fans were spotted maskless at SoFi stadium during the Rams NFC Championship game on Sunday. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and California Governor Gavin Newsom were both photographed without masks during the game. Now, other politicians think the mask rules need to change. L-A City Councilman and mayoral candidate Joe Busciano tells KABC’s Frank Mottek’s Mottek on Money he agrees with County Supervisor Kathryn Barger that mask wearing should be an individual choice.

“People are quite frankly – they’re tired of it. We know what to expect. We know the symptoms. There were a lot of people that were not wearing masks at SoFi Stadium. And I, in a way, agree with Kathryn. If you don’t want to wear a mask, don’t wear a mask.”

On Tuesday, the chorus of opposition got louder as former LA County Supervisor Mike Antonovich told KABC’s John Phillips that mask mandates did not make sense.
