Fox News is reporting that Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the FBI’s probe of Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, in 2016, has accelerated.
Over the weekend, Durham released a filing alleging the Hillary Clinton campaign hired techies to “infiltrate” Trump Tower and White House servers to falsely create a narrative about a connection between Trump and the Kremlin. The objective of the Clinton campaign was to prompt a federal investigation into the former president’s campaign and to convince the public that he was in league with the Russian government. At the time, that’s exactly what then President Trump said was happening. Sources tell Fox News that more people are cooperating and appearing before the federal grand jury than has been reported.
A filing in the John Durham probe of how the debunked Russia hoax came to be has pointed a white hot light on Hillary Clinton–and a former government official see more indictments to come. From the NY Post:
Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said Monday that he expects to see “quite a few more indictments” come out of special counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the FBI probe of claims that former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.
Ratcliffe also revealed that he’d seen intelligence that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign “was creating a plan to vilify Donald Trump [and] to falsely accuse him of ties to Russia,” and further alleged that the intelligence community, the FBI — as well as then-President Barack Obama and then-Vice President Joe Biden — were all briefed on the matter.
