A new poll shows the democrat mayoral candidate is the early front runner. A poll conducted by the U-C Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies has far-left Bass leading the race by a wide margin. Close to a third of voters surveyed indicate they’d pick Bass in the June 7th primary. About 40-percent of voters remain undecided – others in the mix include councilmen Kevin DeLeon and Joe Buscaino, city attorney Mike Feuer and billionaire Rick Caruso among others.

The far-left Bass has a history of support for and activity in Cuba to answer for. It was not long ago that Washington Post wrote that Bass’ history of support for Cuba should disqualify her for VP consideration. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/08/04/karen-basss-history-with-cuba-should-disqualify-her-vp-consideration/ The Tampa bay Times recalls Bass’ comments on the death of Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro: “As Cuba begins nine days of mourning, I wish to express my condolences to the Cuban people and the family of Fidel Castro. The passing of the Comandante en Jefe is a great loss to the people of Cuba. I hope together, our two nations will continue on the new path of support and collaboration with one another, and continue in the new direction of diplomacy.”
