(New York, NY) — It looks like Joe Rogan’s deal with Spotify is worth a lot more than originally thought. Two sources told the New York Times the podcaster’s deal was for at least 200-million dollars over three and a half years, with the potential to earn more money. It was originally reported the deal was worth 100-million bucks. The news comes as Rogan is dealing with backlash as several artists, including Neil Young, requested to remove their music from the platform to protest the alleged misinformation on Rogan’s podcast. Additionally, old videos of Rogan using racial slurs resurfaced, which caused many fans to boycott the streaming service until it removed “The Joe Rogan Experience,” to which it has exclusive rights.
