(Brooklyn, NY) — Etsy is raising its transaction fee for sellers. After a record-breaking 2021 fourth-quarter, the company is increasing seller transaction fees from five percent to six-point-five. The change will go into effect on April 11th, with the amount charged now being six-point-five percent of the total order amount when a seller makes a sale. Etsy took in over 700-million dollars in the fourth quarter last year, which they attribute to a robust holiday shopping season.
