L.A. City Hall Lights Up In Colors Of Ukrainian Flag

(Los Angeles, CA) — As Russia continued its attack on Ukraine, Los Angeles is showing its support for Ukrainians. City Hall on Saturday night lit up in yellow and blue, the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Sharing a photo of the historic downtown L.A. building, Mayor Eric Garcetti tweeted, “Angelenos stand with our Ukrainian brothers and sisters.” The L.A. landmark was among several across the globe, including Empire State Building in New York City, the London Eye and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, to be illuminated in yellow and blue in a show of solidarity.

Pro-Ukrainian Demonstrators Gather In West L.A.

(Westwood, CA) — Hundreds gathered in Westwood Saturday afternoon to demonstrate support for Ukraine and demand the United States to more to assist the beleaguered nation. The demonstration took place during the 1:00 hour at Santa Monica Boulevard near Sepulveda Boulevard. Participants held signs reading “Today We Are All Ukrainians,” “Stop Russian Imperialism” and “Russia Go Home.”More pro-Ukraine demonstration took place this n the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica and elsewhere.
