UK Man Dead After Massive Caffeine Consumption

(Undated) — A UK man is dead after consuming a massive amount of caffeine. The BBC reports in January of 2021, a 29-year-old personal trainer used the wrong scale to measure out caffeine powder. That led to the man consuming what was equivalent to almost 200 cups of coffee. An autopsy revealed the caffeine level in the man’s system was 392 milligrams per liter of blood. A normal cup of coffee would usually put those levels at two to four milligrams per liter.
