(Washington, DC) — The 2020 census undercounts Black, Latino and Indigenous populations and overcounts white and Asian people. That’s according to estimates from a U.S. Census Bureau report. Hispanics and Latinos were missed at more than three times the 2010 undercount rate. Inaccurate data could mean vulnerable groups being left out, affecting resources those communities could receive.
