West Hollywood is becoming a real crime hub The crime rate in West Hollywood is up 137-percent from this time last year. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says about 250 Part One crimes were reported in the city last month alone. Those include murder, rape, burglary, aggravated assault, arson, and human trafficking. By comparison, 105 Part One crimes were reported in West Hollywood in February of last year.
