A Travel warning’s been issued for Tijuana and Baja California The State Department recently reissued that warning for Americans planning travel there due to to heightened concerns regarding crime and kidnappings. The warning states “travelers should remain on main highways and avoid remote locations … of particular concern is the high number of homicides in the non-tourist areas of Tijuana.” They say if you decide to go, exercise caution when visiting local bars or nightclubs and don’t display expensive watches or jewelry.
