Walmart Ending Cigarette Sales In California

(Bentonville, AR) — Walmart cigarette shoppers in California will soon have to go elsewhere. Store officials are calling it a business decision to pull the tobacco items from shelves. The Wall Street Journal reports Walmart will be adding more self checkout registers along with candy options. Walmart stopped selling e-cigarettes and vape devices a few years ago.
