The newspaper found new documentation showing interactions between Chinese executives and the Biden family. That includes government records, court documents, bank statements, and emails on a laptop hard drive that allegedly belonged to Hunter Biden. Those new records show a copy of a million-dollar legal retainer, almost four million dollars in consulting fees, and emails about wire transfers that the Post says show the ways the Biden family profited from relationships with CEFC. No evidence was yet found that President Biden “personally benefited” from or even knew details about those transactions, which happened between leaving the vice presidency and running for president in 2020.
