(Boston, MA) — A baseball signed by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is selling for more than 50-thousand-dollars. That’s according to Boston’s RR Auction. The baseball was originally expected to fetch around 15-thousand-dollars. The ball was reportedly purchased by Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to relief efforts in Ukraine as they battle the ongoing Russian invasion. The auction house will donate 15-thousand-dollars to the cause. A baseball signed by the late Cuban leader Fidel Castro is listed on bonanza.com as for sale–for about $850.
