(San Diego, CA) — Gratitude goes a long way in reducing stress and research proves it. Researchers from the University of California, San Diego’s Rady School of Management are set to publish in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General. They say coworkers and teammates who thank each other before performing a high-stress task experience a better cardiovascular response compared to teams that do not. They found this cardiovascular response leads to increased concentration and more confidence and that means folks are able to perform at their peak performance.
