He said the President will not shy away from candid discussions about human rights abuses. U.S. intelligence officials have assessed that the Saudi crown prince approved the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018, but that hasn’t deterred the Biden Administration from seeking an oil handout from the Saudis.
