(Washington, DC) — Weather is throwing a monkey wrench into efforts to resolve the national shortage of baby formula. FDA Commissioner Robert Califf called it an unfortunate setback and a reminder that weather events can cause disruptions in supply chains. Califf told senators the FDA is working closely with Abbott to get the plant fully functional again.
