Vatican Praises Decision To Overturn Roe V. Wade
(Vatican City) — The Vatican is hailing the Supreme Court’s abortion ruling. The city-state’s Academy for Life said it challenges the rest of the world to reflect on the issue. The archbishop who is the head of the department said the decision comes at a time when the west is “losing passion for life.” President Biden, himself a lifelong Catholic, has condemned the ruling as extreme. He called it a “sad day.”
Rep. Waters Not Happy With SCOTUS Abortion Decision
(Washington, DC) — Congresswoman Maxine Waters is condemning the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe. Following the High Court’s ruling to overturn the landmark abortion rights case, Waters said to “hell with the Supreme Court. We will defy them.” The California Democrat added Black women won’t be intimidated. She said they’ll be out in large numbers.
