Holiday Travel Chaos
(Undated) — People are bracing for a chaotic 4th of July travel weekend. Significant staffing shortages between pilots and crew members, and now air traffic controllers, combined with high demand is expected to make things even worse around the country. After more than 25-thousand delays last weekend, there are nearly 500 cancellations and hundreds of delays and counting already today. Experts are telling travelers to book non-stop flights, insure their tickets, pack light, and sign up for alerts directly through the airline’s services.
