(San Mateo, CA) — Tesla has laid off roughly 200 employees after shutting down a California branch office. The employees were a part of Tesla’s autopilot team and most were hourly workers despite Musk’s recent promise to boost hourly jobs. The layoffs were the latest in a line of job cuts after the company announced it would be reducing i’s staff by about ten-percent.
