(Washington, DC) — The nation’s economic growth is slowing. GDP fell by one-point-six percent in the first quarter of this year. The nation’s trade deficit is being blamed for pushing the number lower. It’s a sharp reversal from the robust economic growth the nation saw toward the end of last year. That’s when GDP grew by nearly seven-percent.
