L.A. County Fails to Move Out of High COVID Community Level Category

(Los Angeles, CA) — Los Angeles County is still in the CDC’s high community activity category for COVID-19. The county’s numbers were projected to fall below the threshold for ten daily hospitalizations per 100-thousand residents. But, the results came up just short. This week’s average is ten-point-one new hospitalizations per day. So far there is no indication County health officials will announce an indoor mask mandate. the numbers will be assessed again next Thursday.
