(Santa Fe, NM) — The investigation into the fatal shooting that happened on the set of “Rust” last year in New Mexico is nearing completion. Alec Baldwin was getting ready to film a scene when he fired a prop gun that struck cinematographer Halyna Hutchins with a live round and killed her. Police have been waiting for the final FBI analysis before sending the case to prosecutors for consideration of any potential charges. The New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator has already received the FBI’s analysis and submitted its report yesterday.
