(Los Angeles, CA) — A proposed gondola project in Los Angeles, California doesn’t have everyone on board. The idea is to have a mile-long elevated public transport system between Union Station and Dodger Stadium. The gondola would be free to baseball fans that have a ticket to the game and could reportedly transport five-thousand people per hour. However, the group Stop The Gondola says it’s a waste of taxpayer money. Its website noted there’s already a free shuttle to Dodger Stadium and building an elevated transport would cause headaches in communities along the route. The proposal is currently under review by city officials.
