(Los Angeles, CA) — Actress Anne Heche has died from injuries she suffered in a fiery crash in Los Angeles on August 5th. She was involved in a car accident where she crashed into a home before her car burst into flames. She was severely burned and taken to the hospital where she had been in a coma ever since. She had been kept on life support to determine if any of her organs were viable for donation. Heche got her start on the NBC soap opera “Another World.” She went on to star in films like “Psycho,” “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and alongside Johnny Depp in “Donnie Brasco.” She was nominated for an Emmy Award for the TV film “Gracie’s Choice.” Police determined the actress had cocaine and fentanyl in her system at the time of the crash. Anne Heche was 53.
