A COVID mandate across California is coming to an end. Starting today, workers who are not vaccinated will no longer need to be tested weekly. The state Department of Public Health says the number of those unprotected is now low enough, and vaccine coverage in high-risk settings is high enough. In fact, 80-percent of people now have their full doses, while almost half have received at least one booster shot.
