(Chicago, IL) — Mayor Lori Lightfoot is responding to statements made by McDonald’s CEO about crime in Chicago. The CEO said the city is in crisis and that the crime hindered McDonalds in personnel decisions. The mayor responded by saying the fast-food executive should educate himself more before speaking. Lightfoot also claimed that a city-based report that claims 112 companies have moved to the city over the last 18 months.
