Zelensky Now Calling For Regime Change: No Stability In Europe If Putin Remains In Power

(Kyiv) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says stability in Europe is impossible as long as Russian President Vladimir Putin remains in power. Appearing on CBS’s Face the Nation, Zelensky said through a translator he doesn’t believe Putin was bluffing when threatening to use nuclear weapons in his war against Ukraine. Zelensky also indicated he doesn’t expect any progress in diplomatic talks with Russia. He said negotiations would be impossible if Putin attempts to annex any of the country’s eastern territory. Zelensky also renewed his call for Russia be declared a state sponsor of terrorism. It remains to be seen if Biden feels the same about regime change Russia. He appeared to call for it, then as happens regularly, his administration walked it back.
