As polls say the Mayor’s race is tightening, Rick Caruso snagged a prized endorsement from the LA Daily News. It reads in part:
“While Karen Bass remains tethered to the city’s failing political establishment, and touts endorsements from special-interest groups like the deplorable SEIU United Healthcare Workers West, Caruso is free to make the decisions Los Angeles needs.
Caruso will work to reform the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, look to streamline Los Angeles’ byzantine bureaucracies and use his know-how as a developer to seriously address the city’s homelessness crisis.
L.A. needs a fresh start and a clean slate. Rick Caruso has our endorsement for mayor.”
