Back by popular demand, John Phillips reveals how he will fill out his ballot in the November 8th election:

Partisan offices (Governor, Lt. Governor, Treasurer, Controller, Secretary of State, Insurance Commissioner, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Congress, state legislature, etc.)

Straight Republican ticket. Sacramento and Washington, D.C. are malfunctioning, non-functioning, dystopian messes. I know Halloween is here, but I’m only interested in the candy and pumpkin spice lattes. I’m tired of living in a neverending zombie apocalypse movie. The Democrats have had their chance, and they’ve failed miserably. Defunding the police, an endless states of emergency, shutting down the schools, road diets, green-new-deal grifts, soaring, catastrophic inflation….bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad…

I’m not sure the Republicans will be so spectacular; we’ll find out soon enough. But this election needs to be about accountability: accountability for lockdowns, for lawlessness, for far-left lunacy. All of it. The monsters in charge who have wrecked our state need to go. All of them. To quote ‘The Warden’, “Period. Full stop.”

Los Angeles Mayor.

Rick Caruso, Democrat. I never thought I’d see the day where LA is more of an insane asylum than San Francisco. Yet here we are! In SF, they were sane enough to dump their whack-job DA and painfully woke school board. In LA, you fail to the top. After two terms of Eric Garcetti, the last thing we need is another Karen. Rick Caruso is running on the platform of getting crime under control, sweeping the homeless off the streets, and cleaning up ethics at City Hall. Sounds good enough to me!

LA County Sheriff.

Alex Villanueva, Democrat. Here’s all you need to know: The Nika (LA) Times hates him more than any other politician in California. For that reason alone, I want him reelected. Hell, let’s make him Prime Minister of England too!

The Propositions.

NO on ALL of them. These ‘voter initiatives’ were too nuts even to get through the California state legislature, which is a certifiable can of Planters. That’s why they landed in our lap. All of them also include some overt act of deception that’s intended to trick you into voting for something sinister. They’re spending a ton of money advertising these props, and they deserve to have all of it wasted.

Local Measures in Los Angeles.

No on SP and ULA.

Both would result in higher taxes on you, the taxpayers. But we really won’t know what our dear leaders will spend it on, until they talk about it privately at the public employee union hall. These thieves don’t deserve another dime from you.

Judges.

I’m farming this out to Craig Huey at:

I’m not a real lawyer, or even a fake one. And you can only give out totally unqualified professional advice in a field if you’re a fake doctor. But, Craig has a good legal head on his shoulders, and he did all the judicial research. So, I followed his lead.
