(Los Angeles, CA) – Big chunks of Southern California are bracing for dangerously strong winds and a high fire danger. The dry Santa Ana winds will kick into high gear on Tuesday. Wednesday could experience gusts of 75-miles per hour which might lead to power outages and fires. The National Weather Service has a red flag warning for many mountain and valley areas in L-A and Ventura counties. That high fire danger will last from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday. In addition, there’s a high wind watch for big chunks of many other SoCal counties. Those counties include Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego.
Get ready for Santa Anas this week.
