Poll: Most Don’t Want Politics Talk At Thanksgiving

(Washington, DC) — A new poll says most Americans are hoping to avoid talk about politics during Thanksgiving, but the White House is prepared anyway. Chief of Staff Ron Klain tweeted a list of what he wants people to believe President Biden has done in office to talk about when “that Uncle comes ‘at you.'” They include misleading and some outright false statements about the infrastructure law –which has not lowered inflation–and new gun safety legislation–on the heels of murderous shootings at a club in Colorado. Despite Klain trying to prepare Americans for political talk over the holiday, nearly two-thirds of those surveyed by Quinnipiac say they’re looking to not engage in such talk. But some on the left will take any opportunity to continue a misleading narrative.
