(Washington, DC) – The Biden administration is confident a nationwide rail strike will be avoided. Of course he was confident inflation would be ‘transitory’, the Taliban would stay out of Afghanistan and the withdrawal would go safely and there’d be no recession. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said President Biden is confident there will be a resolution to an imminent strike. She said a shut down would have a devastating impact on American families and businesses, and some 750-thousand Americans could be out of work. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said lawmakers will have a bill to do so on the floor as soon as tomorrow morning.
