(San Francisco, CA) — Video of the San Francisco attack on former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband is out. It shows police knocking on the door, Paul Pelosi answering, and trying to get the hammer out of the hand of the intruder. Cops order the man to drop the hammer, the man says “no,” and hits Paul Pelosi in the head. The video ends with police charging in, wrestling the intruder to the ground as Paul Pelosi lays motionless.

(Washington, DC) — The White House is calling the attack on Paul Pelosi unconscionable. Police video of the attack on former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was released today, showing the suspect hit him over the head with a hammer. The video ends with police charging in, wrestling the intruder to the ground as Paul Pelosi lays motionless. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said it’s a miracle he was not more seriously injured and said she’s grateful he’s on his way to recovery.
