(Undated) — Its Groundhog Day and resident rodents around the East coast aren’t in agreement. On Long Island, Holstville Hal saw his shadow this morning and says there’s going to be six more weeks of winter while Malverne Mel says an early spring is on the way. Staten Island Chuck agrees with Malverne Mel for an early spring. Edwina in Essex, New Jersey, along with Punxsutawney Phil in Pennsylvania, predict six more weeks of winter. Meantime Connecticut’s groundhog, Chuckles, has predicted an early spring.
