(Culver City, CA) — Culver City is banning tent encampments from public spaces. City council approved the ban in a three to two vote Tuesday. It won’t immediately go into effect because there are some details that need to be worked out. City officials are trying to figure out how to clear the streets of tents without criminalizing homelessness. One proposed solution is to create a designed camping site.
